  1. Bastian and McLeod have been linemates since Juniors or something like that, I think McLeod has looked a little lost without his buddy.

  2. I’m so happy Nate is back!!! Obviously he isn’t the greatest player ever, but he can make an impact and will solidify the 4th line

  3. Yeah I mean the Bruins are what 1 point below the playoff line with 5-6 games in hand? By winning percentage they are 7th in the conference. And if anything they have a ton of room to grow still. I don't see anyway the Bruins don't make it.

  4. I don't do picks anymore, not since I picked Columbus over Tampa out of spite[*] in April 2019 but missed the other three division winners being upset by their wild card opponents that spring…

[*Don't ask unless you want a lengthy rant about the intersection of my entitlement and minor league hockey dynamics…]

  5. Man the whole Seattle expansion really made NJ lose nothing and then some. Not only we got bastion back but the only reason we have Ryan Graves was because Seattle was going to take him and Colorado didn't want to lose such a high asset player for nothing so they made a deal with the devils.

  6. Ok so my HONEST feeling RIGHT now is that in the East the Rangers and (God help me) Tampa will fall out of the top three and need to be Wild Card teams. I don't think Tampa misses the Playoffs….the Rangers….well they can't start Shesterkin every night. I think they are replaced by The Penguins and the Bruins. I think the Pens are FAR better than their record would indicate and they still have Malkin to come back. The Bruins struggled early but appear to be finding their footing. I would also say given Toronto's track record that I am worried about them but I still think they stay in the top three. Out west…oof. St. Louis, Winnipeg, and Vegas all slide down into the Wild card area (yes I know only 2 can make it). Colorado moves up to take St. Louis's spot, Nashville appears to be moving up so I will take them to BARELY edge Winnipeg. In the Pacific? Vegas is out Anaheim is in. Your Four wild Cards. East: Columbus and Tampa West: St. Louis and Winnipeg. I think Vegas is going to have a down year and I am not sure Eichel makes it back in time to make a difference. Also if I were Vegas I would just shut him down this year and let him FULLY recover and make a push next year. Just me. I am sure I am ticking off certain fan bases by saying this but we can't all be winners and sometimes we have to accept whats going on. I am fairly certain most Blues fans will hate this but you have to admit SOMETHING is going wrong there. That team has TOO much talent to be looking like it has.

  7. Interesting strategy about Murray in Ottawa. Before he left here in Pittsburgh, we all knew him to be quite a shaky and un-confident goaltender who couldn't stop a beach ball. I believed it was connected to his father's passing. Coming from someone who knows what that's like, I'm sure that it's changed Murray.
He was in the league for his first two years and gets his name on the Cup for those two… and then just fell off. I was hoping that he would get a change with the Sens, but any other psychological assessment from me would be at a loss.

  8. I don't care about predicting but I edit a lot of my comments when I read it later and see a misspelling or something that is poorly written.

  9. Bruins will make the playoffs, and the Jets will be out of playoffs at the end of the regular season
