  1. No surprise. I think everyone knew this would happen at some point. Feel bad as Demko is so impactful when at his best.

  2. At this point, I think at the end of May, Alvin should inquire about KHL goalie, Maxim Motorygin

  3. This is very sad news. The end to Demko's career is very sad as he has been one of the NHL's best goal tenders. He should have listened to me and healed with the carnivore diet. He can't recover from injuries with his current diet which means he will not be able to recover from the huge assault of surgery. This will be good for the Canucks organization as Demko will join the many people that are on terminal LTIR and so they will have a lot more cap space in which to get more depth up the middle, centers and goal tenders. His continued absence will for sure help with Team Tank as they will continue to have to make due in goal with no legit back up goal tender, but i believe Tolo will develop into one with enough games. Sad news indeed. Expect Petey to be gone next, that is one way to exit a bad contract but not ideal as these surgeries destroy the body and they will be in pain for the rest of their lives sans the carnivore diet's healing properties.

  4. Thinking about the contract, I would say at 8.5 million per year he is going to be what you consider the standard contract for goaltender AAV will be anyways with the cap rising. At this point I would take the gamble at that contract as the connects will be rebuilding the next few years anyways. I feel for the guy with his injury history and I hope that we look at these three years at 8.5 million as a value once the contract lapses.

  5. This is good for the Canucks short term. Demko is a difference maker when healthy and Canucks don’t need him to be winning games anytime soon. The more minutes they can give Tolopilo the better. Would have even been better if the Canucks had Silovs over Lankinan now.

  6. I'm not surprised at all. Still very troubling news from a health standpoint. The guy can not catch a break

  7. the canucks are not worth watching anymore .. how can anyone pay to watch them play… management has destroyed this team
