Former Panthers goalie Vitek Vanecek, who was honored in the first period along with D Nate Schmidt, made 25 saves for his first win since Oct. 26.

I’ve never seen 2 embellishments called in the same game. If it’s an embellishment, then why call a penalty at all? I’m sure the panthers would have rather had no penalty on a trip than have Tkachuk in the box. So dumb.
