Gotta trade Jesper before 2027 unless you plan on trading Gus when his M-NTC kicks in 2028-2029…………..You can't tie up a shit-ton of Cap in goalies. Even the dumbest GMs in NHL history knows this……….So, if the right deal comes along (for any player) you trade them………

We don’t NEED a 1C! We need someone who can win faceoffs. Claude Giroulx last year of 2mil cap hit. He’s got 65% FOW pct and 32 points. Send them Jiricek and a 2 and 3rd. We win faceoffs our PK will top 5, out PP top 3.
lol ! Thomas has 32 points, 11 goals, and he’s 52% in faceoffs. We have lots of those. In 3 years Wallsstedt will be the league’s top goalie. You’d trade a top Goalie for Thomas?
Love the Robert Thomas take with one exception. Gus instead of Jesper. If Gus has a down campaign after you trade Jesper. The base will be screaming Jesper is better than this. If Jesper dips a bit he is still developing. He has shown me he can play at a high level. Enduring mental toughness is only question mark. Bring on Fleury to mentor.
