As a German Hockey Fan (1st Ottawa for much longer, then (2nd) Leon since his WHL years, then (3rd) Oilers, b/c of being drafted…) I love this storyline!
Bakersfield are surprisingly rive with talent this year (thx in part to much maligned Stan Bowman), but this guy, more than anyone, seems to have the NHL template (from all those AHL hopefulls), to atleast be a good bottom 6 centerman at the NHL level, if nothing else (Like Sturm?) As a German, that is a sweet storyline, 4-sure!
