I've been a Sords fan since we got him just because of the story of adversity he's had, and then management responding to baffled questions of why we could possibly want him with basically just "trust us". You know there's something special there. And now it's basically just him, Chickie, and Willie trying to keep the team performing on the ice.
When we traded for him, I was in the camp of "Who did we give up a 2nd and a 6th round pick for?" I am glad to see that he is hitting his stride after an understandable slow start. He's absolutely been making the most of the extra ice time he's being given.
My beginning-of-the-year bingo card did not, in fact, have Justin Sourdif becoming my favorite player before the all-star break on it. I love this kid!!!
