Based on the pkaher Rangers are trading & the fact they need cap space don't expect much of a return. Probably a late round pick & might not be this year or prospect Isles don't believe in.

It would make more sense for the Islanders to deal Tsyplakov for Sushi 🍣! Islanders don’t have the cap 🧢 space. Sushi is a UFA Tsyplakov has one more year at 2.25 million. If Islanders get Sushi he is simply a rental with Pulock out and Romanov out for the year.
Has to be a 2nd round pick or a very good prospect. Otherwise no reason to make the trade this early.
Lafreniere should be traded to Montreal for Xhekaj. Laffy is from Montreal and was picked by Gorton in the draft. Xhkaj is a big physical d-man making less than 2 million where Laffy makes 7,45 million.

I cant believe people are defending trading Soucy, he's been bashed by everyone all year. Tell me how he is suddenly an asset? I watched the other teams skate around or by him the whole season. Dump him…
I think Scott Morrow should at least be an athlete before we start placing any expectations on him that we can build something on.
Soucy has been solid this season, and I think he'll be good for them so to me, I don't think Drury should let him go for anything less than a second when you're talking the Isles. Maybe a third to lots of other teams, but no way to the Isles… especially considering they just lost Pulock for who knows how long.
