Let's hope Staios doesn't force a trade. This year is done ! They need to start talking to NHL to have the 1st back or at the very less the 32nd !!!

Nobody wants to hear it and I don't like it either but we need to move a bigger piece to try and shake it up , we can't blow it up at this point
I don’t think Staios is sleeping at the wheel. I’m sure he’s aware of the social media invectives thrown at the team and him. It’s whatever he does he’s going to be criticized, especially since he doesn’t have easy options to pull the trigger without causing a ripple effect somewhere else. No first round pick sucks.
Ive said this for weeks, yet people thought i was out of my mind, knew nothing about this team and what did i respond? Just watch. Have you guys seen enough yet? I said this team is going to have to restart, keeping their corest of core players..Timmy, Jake, Shane, maybe Dylan, Leevi..are the only untouchables. You can even make a case for Ridly Grieg and Tyler Kleven. Everyone else is up for grabs. Rebuild that prospect pool. Just admit to the facts. The Pierre Dorion rebuild became an absolute failure. The 2020 draft was so good for this team, and due to the poor asset management, the amount of wasted and traded away first round picks after the 2020 draft, and piss poor development from DJ Smith, this team has the talent to do well, but all they have known to do for the last 9 years of this rebuild is how to lose. They werent there for the hamburglar run. They werent there for the run in 2016. None were there when they were actually successful. Its enough. You dont put a bandaid on an infected wound. It doesnt fix the problem, to the degree it just becomes inevitable. Trade off the rest, get a ton of draft capital for a loaded 2027 draft, and take your shot at hopefully getting the #1 pick in that draft and get Lamon Dupont. Start from there.
If any of you think there is a chance to make the playoffs this season, look at the analytics. The Rangers, 5 pts back of Ottawa, are about to have a sell-off to the point its public. They know they are done.
You have the Jackets, who fired their head coach and will be looking like sellers aswell, and are 2pts ahead of you.
The Devils people have written off right now due to how good the Atlantic is, and they are 3 pts ahead of the Sens.
To boot, every single one of those teams have an easier schedule to finish off the season, then Ottawa has. Ottawa has the easier, more favorable start, and they squandered it.
