Dustin Byfuglien unplugged every phone in his house after getting drafted and straight-up disappeared so he wouldn’t have to deal with team events. A true hockey unicorn…

“Buff” , sounds like he suffers from anxiety ?
I live in winnipeg.. we getting off work big truck cuts us off on Pembina hwy .. jst before the jets arema there was a game that night.. so i tell my son he 18 catch that truck .. we pull beside him rolll my window down ready yell at this guy ..then its big buff i jst looked straight.. fuck that.. lol ..
Jets finally looked like they had a legit team until Buff walked out on them. Been trash ever since.
Lol fuck is that a bad story
He wanted to eat pizza and cheeseburgers all summer.
Playing against a 6'5" 260 lbs. player… 😳!
For being a guy that never really seemed to actually want to be a hockey player, buff sure was a hell of a hockey player
I played junior hockey in Prince George when he played for the of cougars. No word of a lie he likes the weed there so much he would fill up his shafts with weed and put a blade and plug in the end and bring home a tonne of weed each year at end of season. So crazy
Partied with buff in off season in northwestern Ontario. He was fishing for a week at Stanley’s resort. He somehow ended up at my buddies garage playing beer pong n just chilling with his uncle and cousins. Nicest guy in the world man. So chill. We all went to our small town local watering hole n he smiled for everyone asking for pictures and a chat the whole night. Straight up class. Guys a beauty.
Unless he was living on his own, the story makes no sense.
Obligations Smobligations!!!
He had better things to do!!!
🤷🏻♂️
Broke my heart when the hawks let Buff go. Chicago loved him
Came into the league the same way he went out. A complete ghost lol
I also heard that while his phones were unplugged he actually went on a fishing trip instead of making plans for training camp!lol.
Someday I’d love to be able to afford to hire buff as a guide to go on a fishing trip with. I’ve heard that he is a fishing guide now, and that would combine two of my bucket list wishes – guided fishing trip, and listing to hockey stories from a legend like Dustin Byfuglien.
Him ragdolling 2 Vegas players at once is etched in my mind. Also when he scored a hat trick against the Canucks
I met Big Buff at an appearance he made at a local bar while he was doing a radio show. He was hilarious and really friendly with the listeners who showed up.
