The Flames defence has come a long way in the past 2 seasons. Anderson has a lot of skills and some flash and is good defensively but not irreplaceable in defensive play. I dont know much about Whitecloud but I dont think that that aspect of the trade means too much. The defense is coming along nicely either way. That's not the area of obvious need. The lack of scoring is the main issue. So many great chances that just don't get put away.
