I don't think Yzerman would drop $12Mill for him(or give up those players either, maybe get them to take other prospects instead), I would see what Panarin would get, and want to know of Hamilton, and Andersson's no trade teams and if Detroit is still looking into them still.

As a leaf fan, would love Robertson, but there’s no way we can afford him. It’s too risky to give up all the assets we have left.
I think I stated 3 weeks to a month ago that this was going to happen because Dallas couldn't afford him I'd be pretty upset if he didn't come to Detroit. Trey Augustine is going to be a free agent because he won't sign…. We will end up losing Nate Danielson nygaard and they will definitely try and grab Max plante or Eddie Genborg which may end the deals. However giving up Carter bear remains to be seen whether that would be a mistake or not. But you sell the farm for the future. One more defenseman and we are to the second round of the playoffs with Robertson..

WHY in the world would Dallas trade Robertson. They are poised to be high in the playoff standings and have @ decent chance at winning it all. Robertson is almost a franchise player- who gives up on that?!?!?!

As long as the Wings keep Raymond, Seider, ASP, and Edvinnson…I’d be ok with a trade for Robertson. That package you just listed would be pretty ideal. I’d prefer giving up Augustine to Cossa as I think Cossa ideally moves up to be Gibson’s backup next season.

Malarkey. He isn’t STevie Y’s type of player. Doesn’t play 200 feet. A player this good should be a lock for USA team in Olympics. The fact he wasnt chosen tells you what the brightest hockey minds think of him. And that alone yells me what SY thinks of him. Not to mention he’s not giving a guy who doesn’t play every aspect of the ice double digit M’s while paying Larking and Mo less then 9. Not gonna happen.
This is just noise. The stars are already badly in need of a left wing as is. They aren’t about to trade their best one unless he’s replaced and then some. They are trying to win now. Trading Robertson makes zero sense unless someone blows their socks off w an offer. Bare minimum the offer would have to include a top 4 RHD and a top 6 forward for them to take it seriously.

Petterson from Vancouver. Lines would be 1st Debrinkat-Larson-Kane: 2nd Finnie-Petterson-Raymond. THIS lineup gets DRW deep in the playoffs.
