Hagens is not playing in providence… why? he would just go back to BC
Look, we all know Hagens was projected to go as high a 1 in the 2024 draft and he came to us by miracle at #7 last year. We all saw the kid's skill set at Development Camp. I don't know who made the call on Hagens returning to BC this year but it was a mistake. He should have joined the Bs right out of training camp because he was pro-ready and he is competitive. How do you think the kid felt seeing Sheafer, who is younger than him, have success with his hometown team, the Islanders. The move back to BC was a distraction for this kid. Sweeney has got to get him to Causeway Street soon.
