Laf getting traded would be a great early 2026 Christmas present. He just doesn't exude confidence to me tons of immaturity and laziness from someone looking from the outside though.

The letter was a result of the fire Drury chants. Not responding at all would have been bad. He could have had a press conference but that's not his style. Not sure where I saw this, but Drury said more with the letter than Fitz did on camera.
Johnny can’t legit be serious w how he feels about Drury. Be real for once instead of saying what you’re told to say. How do they go from President Trophy to the team they are now? Look at the roster from then to now. It’s crazy how many players he traded/didn’t sign/etc!!! Yes, take risks, but he’s flipped this entire roster! Drury is like a meteorologist, can be wrong all the time but still have a job. The letter is weak, hiding behind it instead of speaking to the media. Always hiding so he doesn’t have to answer any questions. Unfortunately NYR will be bad until Drury is gone.

Of course the Letter made the losses less painful. That's why Drury issued it – to protect himself and try to quiet the "Fire Drury" chants. He still has absolutely no idea what he is doing.
