  1. Because this is a MAN's tournament not for kids…. oh and because you are a Montreal Canadian…

  2. I agree, Hutson wasn’t going to replace a Jones with a Hutson. Lacombe is a phenomenal dman.

I think Hutson is skilled enough to make the roster but ultimately came down to Sanderson or him, and the brass went with the former.

  3. Quinn hughes is already their as the #1 dman and puck moving quarterback for the PP. No offense to Hutson but no need for another offensive dman need a defensive shutdown guy on that US roster

  4. Hutson is just not big enough to replace Jones. that's all. Lane has more points than Hughes and a better +/- stat sheet. Their loss.

  5. To be honest, Lane Hutson has arguably been the best defenseman in the league this season. Swap him with Makar on the Avs and he'd probably have far more points than Cale this season. He's playing very good defensive hockey too, his metrics are unreal.

Of course Guerin wasn't going to pick him after he took his own players and then Lane destroyed his team right before he picked a replacement.

    Guerin is a clown 🤡

  6. Imagine not inviting a guy that won the calder last year and is a frontrunner to win the norris this year lol.

Their loss. I'm actually happy because Canada won't have to play against him AND both him and Caufield will be able to rest for weeks.

That's actually a huge W for Canadian habs fans.

  7. Oh well, Hutson will enjoy the 2 week break and gets some well deserved rest for the final push of the season

  8. Lane hutson has 52 points, 2 less then Cale Makar, is a great defender and carries Montreal night in and night out, and these guys think Adam Fox is a bigger snub lol

  9. Hutson starts 67% of total shifts in the offensive zone. Lacombe starts 50.8%. Thats according to hockey reference. Hutson doesn't play pk. Lacombe and Jones both do. They don't need another small offensive dman. They need a guy who can play pk, brings some size as well as produce some offense.

  10. People are so stupid man. Teams like these built based on fit. Yeah maybe he should be on the team, but he’s not. They lost a shutdown d in jones, they already have hutson who is a small mobile d. To fill Jones’s shoes they pick Lacombe who can move pucks, run a pp and a pk. It’s not unfair to be upset as a habs fan but you need to realize they don’t just add a small d right after they lose a big d like jones
