They had 3 days off, then got embarrassed on home ice. I know, I am biased but this pisses me off. As are as the refs, they were terrible the whole game.

The Bardakov penalty made me so mad. The no-call into a 5 minute major to review it is complete BS. I thought that wasn't something that you can do but they have done it multiple times against the Avs over the last few years. But on top of that, they also let SOOOOOO much other stuff go uncalled the rest of the game and then of all the things they call, it's that with ~6min left in the game. You're probably right, they probably wouldn't have tied it up…. but at the same time they're the best 3rd period team in the league and have a +35 or whatever scoring differential in the 3rd alone so who knows what happens if that penalty isn't called.
Once again I just want them to be consistent or at the very least have to answer for calls like this that are completely made up. It sucks that Haula was injured but you should not be penalizing the result if the play that caused the result was clean. This game made me way more mad than any other game this year. That being said they're still the top of the league so in the grand scheme it is not a big deal, but damn that was a frustrating watch.

Concerned? Nah. Still on top of the league and by a lot. PP and injuries to worry about. however, not panicking yet. They will be fine. This game, was close 4-3 until the very end. Outscored Preds. Their goalie played better than ours. We are gonna be fine. Get healthy into the playoffs and win the President's Trophy – I need game 7s on home ice. Otherwise, it is all good.
There were so many instances of lackadaisical, careless passing in this game – even in the third period in which they are usually lights-out – that I felt like this result was inevitable. Nashville outplayed them last night, for sure, but it was more that the Avalanche was not nearly meeting the standard of play that they usually deliver.
