I wanted to touch on something about Eric Comrie that I only clued in while watching the game last night. I noticed that he started using a white cage with his mask the last 2 starts instead of the usual chrome one. Opinions may vary, but a decent number of goalies out there do say that the white blends in with the ice more and offers less visual contrast for tracking the puck than the chrome. Might be something Coms has been testing out as he works on bettering his game in 2026. A small gear change that may be paying off for him.
