As David Pagnotta said yesterday on the show the price had dropped and it was imminent for a Sherwood trade, and not long after the show the NHL hits leader was shipped to San Jose for two seconds and undrafted defenceman Cole Clayton.

It was an eventful return for Matthew Tkachuk as the San Jose Sharks came into Sunrise and punched the Panthers in the mouth in a 4-1 defeat. Alex Nedeljkovic and Sergei Bobrovsky got into a rare goalie fight and Ned had the fists flying after a questionable hit on a Sharks defender.
