Is dynamic pricing causing the scenes we saw Saturday night or do the Sens have themselves to blame? πŸ€”

  1. I want to see the Sens, regardless of who they play. So if I'm picking a few games to go to, I'll avoid the ones that cost 4X the regular price. Sadly, the result is emboldened Leafs and Habs fans taking over, which means the atmosphere is even worse for Sens fans, furthering the spiral.

  2. Impossible for most families to take there kids to a game LEAFS tickets are 400 for upper levels pending team playing food is QUADRUPLE retail costs

  3. In my experience, cheering the Sens too loudly will get you dirty looks from many hometown fans. "The crowd goes mild" phrase was invented for places like Ottawa.

  4. It was louder last game because Montreal is playing well and Ottawa is playing like shit. If Ottawa starts performing as expected, fans will be there and be loud.

  5. I know someone who is $80 seats turned into $350 seats for Toronto and Montreal games. Wally nailed it. ownership HAS to do something about the prices now if they want people to come to those games.

  6. I go to as many games as I possibly can, but even I won’t bother with the leafs and Canadians. I know somewhere I typically get a good 300 level seat for around $25-$30 and have come to town or around. 150-200 it’s not worth it to be surrounded by obnoxious hammered leaves, perhaps fans with a lacklustre performance from the sens on the ice. Unless the team can turn things around and do something to fix the prices for those games, people are never gonna show up. This is 1000% on the ownership.

  7. Good on you Wally for telling it like it is. Sens want the revenue then expect fans to sell their ducats.

  8. Hey kids..it AIN’T ownership that you should be complaining about. It’s the opportunistic season ticket holders who whore their tickets for Leaf and Canadien games to try and recoup a few bucks. Kids, if you can’t afford season ticket then don’t f’ing buy them. AND everyone knows what the schedule is its high time Sens fans stepped up and stopped embarrassing themselves.

  9. Fair Weather fans + always outnumbered by away fans. I lived in Ottawa for 21 years, moved there in early 2000s for the good times but after the 2007 SCF loss to Anaheim i felt like i was the only sens fan in Ottawa
