If you're lucky, there's two times you get to take a lap. First as a rookie… then later as a legend.
I get why hawks fans still love Toews and all, but l really can’t overlook him defending Bowman in the Kyle Beach situation. He might be the captain of the team that got the city the cup, but defending Bowman with all the information about what happened to Kyle available at that time was appalling and forever tarnished his good old Canadian boy image for me.

Why is he still playing and why is he still being allowed to play? He's got some of the most severe chronic symptoms from repeated concussions that I've seen outside of Merrill Hodge. It's a danger to his life at this point every time he's allowed to step on the ice.
Most of the crowd were just kids/teens witnessing their favorite team winning the cup!
