I tried to tell everyone on here that GOALTENDING MAKES THE DIFFERENCE IN THE NHL. Gibson had a rusty month. Then he went back to his normal self. Hes been one of the best goalies in the league for years. Talbot still sucks, hes a liability on back to backs. We havent had a consistent good goalie like this since osgood took over in the 08 cup run. In fact our goalies were the biggest issue but we blamed everythibg else. Howard was mentally soft , came up with an injury everytime he got lit up, let himself get out of shape. He was good in periods one and two, but the third period he choked. a bad five hole to blow the lead or a weak wrap around or soft blocker side.snd the worst goalie ever in shootouts.but onto current, Gibson is so good on one timers, reads play fights screens. Gets his shoulders on high shots. Celebrini had it labeled top titty and gibson robbed him. Gibson kept anaheim in games the last 7 seasons when they played no defense. I want the red wings to trade for eirher werenski or roman rosi. Maybe move danielson and a pick for bertuzzi? Bertuzzi adds soke grit and more secondary scoring.
