Who should be Point’s replacement if he can’t go to Olympics?

Michael Hage is likely seriously being considered as a call up, he can play center or the wing as well and is less of a liability defensively than a guy like Bedard
Schiefele outpoints all but 3 Canadian born players DESPITE his team absolutely tanking and not even a mention? I'm not normally a conspiracy guy, but what exactly gives? We're allowed to consider absolutely anyone at all, most especially anyone who does not put up such consistent points, but we must never mention this one guy who does his thing, season after season, good team or bad team.
Don't be stupid replace Point now. He wont be in good shape or sharp for the olympics if he is sidelined injured for the next several weeks . He is not having the best year anyway. There are far better players than him to be on the olympic team. Cooper is bias towards Point. I don't think 3 tampa bay forwards deserved to be on the team over some of the better Canadian players . Again that is Cooper being bias. That is not right. Put in Bennett who has proven himself in tournaments and playoffs as an extremely effective player in those situations. Or Scheifele who has lots of years experience as a top player and is having an exceptional year .I would say Bedard but with Celebrini already on the team I can understand not wanting to go with two very young inexperienced players
They have the perfect winger waiting to play with McDavid. Zach Hyman. The 4 nations was a rotating door next to McDavid and they never found the right guy. The right guy is obvious to me. He skates great, kills penalties, goes to the net, plays in the corners. This is a short tournament. You need instant chemistry. A line of Marner, McDavid and Hyman would be the best in the tournament.
It should 100% be bedard considering the role point has for canada. I have belief that Celebrini/Crosby can effectively kill penalties if needed, Point is a skill guy for Canada and a skill guy should replace him
I threw out Schenn because I think he's a good veteran who would help the team, but honestly I think Bedard deserves to be there. He may not handle the pressure like Schenn though
i think brad marchand & tom wilson should stay in canada and help brayden point hobble around… hell, take cirelli too. none of those 4 should be on this team.

He's #4 amongst ALL TEAM CANADA PLAYERS, behind only McDavid, MacKinnon and Celebrini. He's ahead of the rest of the ENTIRE TEAM. He's a machine.
