You cannot play without a goaltender. Again. Year 27 in a row. That's it. Plan and simple. You can't play perfect. Errson took this season down. But not his fault. He has a career 848 save percentage. He is what he is. Vldar has been admirable, but not a number one. It's a shame because this team plays hard. Never a big save. Never a momentum swing. Ever. These guys will make mistakes, it's hockey. But you can't win with any system or play the right way when you give up six soft goals a night.
it's time to look forward to another lottery pick….evaluate your personnel and make hard decisions ahead of the trade deadline. We have to be sellers and look to make the team better. It's up to Danny and Jonesy to continue to make this team better….by getting rid of bad contracts to the extent possible; keep the young guys with upside and trade veterans. We are sadly still years away.
Egads. Danny needs to step up. He's made some good trades, but he's ignoring the elephant in the room. Our goaltending is abysmal and we still don't have a #1 center. Fire the goaltending coach NOW (way overdue). This team is a complete shit-show right now. I pin a lot of it on Couturier, to be honest. A leader is supposed to lead, the best lead by example. I think he has 5 goals in 46 games. That's not going to get it done.
This losing streak ends their chance for the playoffs. They would be swept or win 1 game. Keep rebuilding. Ersson is leaky. Kolosov too deep in the net and plays small.
Stop beating a deadchorse this team is bad not enough dog mentality players who will go after the puck and come up with it. And if the goalie isnt the best player then we are dead in the water.

Turnovers, Terrible penalties along with an awful penalty kill.. Zero power play.. Atrocious passing …
Goaltenders are only a small portion of the problem. Coots Tipp, Tk Meech… all severely underachieving..
This isnt just one issue.. this isnt a playoff team.
