If this team is actually serious about getting far in the playoffs this would be a really really budget fix. They would all fit in the salary cap and you wouldn't have to give up a whole lot.

Homer couldn’t keep up with Datsyuk and Zetterberg and that turned out pretty well. I know it’s a faster NHL but still.
I wish we had a defenseman like Konstantinov was hitting everything in sight. The closest we have is Chariot and he's not even close. ASP is small. It's like asking a child to do a man's job. They all act like they are allergic to hitting people.

Stop trying to find ways to say "well, if they lose it's okay"
If this is a playoff team this year, they need to start seeing every game as a game they expect to win and, in most cases, need to win. We don't really lead the division. We've just played more games. You can't look at games against division rivals and go "well I guess if we lose this one it's not the end of the world". Yeah, everyone knows it's not the end of the world. But it's not winning mentality.
I'm going to address this again because there are a small group of ignorant people that think Larkin is not a first line center and that he should be a winger. you are dumb. Larkin is tied for 11th in the league in goals with 23 and 3 less games than the games played, he is 3rd in the league with face off wins and that is 32 more wins than the 4th guy. He has five game winning goals, that's 3rd in the league and the 1rst has 7. Regardless what Brian and Scotty say 15 of Larkin's 23 goals are even strength. I just backed up a fact with stats, not some half ass, low brain opinion that Larkin isn't a first line center. winning face off is the most important stat for any center but most specifically the 1rst line and 3rd in the entire NHL speaks for it self. I understand it's easy to go on the interwebs and troll, but some of these people believe their opinions when they are factually and completely wrong. Go wings!
