I agree I do beleive he is a good GM when it comes to trades but he and Cam Neely I dont think are great at draft picks
I don't really think they need rentals unless they get a stupid deal because we don't need to be testing off assets when we realistically aren't competing for a cup.
I just don’t get the logic going after Andersen. He’s 30 and doesn’t fit with the youth movement the team needs to trend towards. Especially giving away a huge first round pick that could be a top 10. They shouldn’t be fighting for a playoff spot, they will get bounced in the first, second at best. This is the time to sell off assets and get back picks and young players. Do they really need the playoff revenue that badly?

I don’t want either first round pick moved, Toronto or our pick could be lottery picks. If traded has to be top 5 protected. Toronto’s already is so can’t really move that.
The advantage of having 2 first rounds picks is keeping them and drafting stars. Trade any 2nd or later picks but keep all 5 first rounders is the move!!
It's tempting to deal picks now But having 4 1sts in 2 yrs. Is franchise changing in the best way.
The pipeline will be filled with Hagens and like 6 or 7 other elite players then trade the least of that group for more picks.

It's a nothing burger. A 4th rounder for a guy who's a depth nhl'er who can play who's tough but who wasn't good enough to play for us. It's entirely reasonable. It's not close to a fleecing.

He made stupid trade after stupid trade for rentals we never kept and traded away a loved Bruin to try and save his own ass. Fuck Sweeney!!!
Maybe going to use that 4th rounder plus the Cap $$$ toward a bigger move. Getting a 4the is a big return for a guy who hasn't scored a goal for the BOSTON Bruins in a year and a half.

If the bruins do anything but sell come deadline then Sweeney needs to be fired. We are not getting through the second round and probably not the first no matter who we bring in. I don't know where you get your weed but to think Sweeney is even in the top 10 for gms is a joke.
