the NEW YORK RANGERS got EMBARASSED ONCE AGAIN so will they FIRE Chris Drury?

The New York Rangers got off to a bad start to begin this season, and unfortunately, things have only gotten worse. This organization has many problems with it, and it’s definitely not just the roster this team currently has. The Rangers have been an awful team at scouting and developing players and prospects for pretty much their entire existence. In today’s video, we talk about the embarrassing loss to the Ottawa Senators, whether or not we’ll likely see Chris Drury and or Mike Sullivan fired, and which players should be a part of the core going forward.

  1. Rather have rempe in the lineup playing 4 th line minutes with one hand , no scoring, no fighting but hitting. Than Raddysh no scoring, no fighting and zero hitting ( he actually slows down before minimal contact while forechecking)

  2. I don't know why anyone should be shocked anymore, at least the one's who saw this coming. After only two weeks into the season were able to brace themselves early in the season for this outcome lol. This also why, Quick has no real value He's too old and isn't a starter level goalie anymore. Drury isn't going to be fired, brought up a great point. Dolan by firing Drury after signing him to an extension. Would be admitting he made another mistake which he can not do this year at least. While the development staff, is responsible for the lack of successful prospects coming up the pipeline. Then when they do actually have some talent. The coaching staff gives them bottom six minutes, puts them in different positions they aren't great at, which makes them regress even more. At this point, it's just flat out a Culture problem or, lack of one really. People that say, Rangers were great in the 90's due to signing vets. What they fail an keep failing to take into account, is there were no salary caps during that era of hockey. So teams could sign/trade for whoever they wanted. You CAN NOT do that in today's NHL with the hard cap in place. Now, it's about developing your draft picks and helping them turn into true, franchise players. Rangers just never seemed to get that memo for whatever reason.

  3. Ever notice that Coach Sully now looks exactly like Coach Pete did this time last year?
Like dads who have no idea how to get the teens to look for jobs, stop skipping school and stop smoking pot in their rooms all day.
Look – fans can SAY whatever we want. It doesn't matter. (Attendance/revenue drop might).
This will be wash, rinse, repeat (lose) over and over… until drastic (wrong) moves come.

  4. The problem stems from management dismantling the nucleus of a president's trophy team, with talks of trades to the star players Truba, Goodreau, and Krieder, who were the heart of the team. This year trade hangs over the heads os Zibanejad, Panarin, and Trocheck. This kills team spirit and camaraderie. As we have seen all year, there is no desire to play hard for 60 minutes, no desire to win. Management is to blame for creating this type of environment and atmosphere in the locker room and on the ice. Can't fire the owner, but Drury has to go along with anybody giving him advice on how to manage. He just doesn't have a clue what it takes to keep guys connected, inspired, and to have a desire to win…..

  5. Yesterday I watched the Centennial interview with Henrik interviewing Messier. Watch it if you can because it was truly great how the dialogue evolved. After I sat there wondering why the F! is Messier not the GM or President or some part of the Rangers hockey operation. He talked about how they won the President's Trophy his first year & missed the playoffs the next year & then rallied & won Lord Stanley the next year. It wasn't talked about but it was Messier who courageously criticized the coach Roger Neilson(good man by the way) which really was a major factor in the cup win with the hiring of taskmaster Keenan. Messier has such depth of knowledge about how a team should be constructed & how everyone is important even the locker room janitor. I remember reading in a book about how the whole team gathered in the locker room with the locker room janitor, chanting his name & then giving him a Stanley Cup ring. The guy was crying & overwhelmed & I remember thinking how FN cool that was. I laughed when Hank said that he wished he had played with Messier. Now we have Dolan & Drury, neither of whom has interpersonal skills. Playing for them would be such a downer.

  6. a team with no present or future. this team is loaded with older journeymen that have no offensive abilities. their defense is still porous and too small as is their better offensive players. they have not drafted or developed well for years. their younger players dont excite anybody!! it has to land on DRURY there is not one aspect of this team that looks competitive…..oh yes goaltending, they have another good goalie thats now way overpaid because his career will be wasted!!!
