Let’s go sharks! 🦈
My thoughts Ned will be traded along with a d-man or two.
This doesn't seem like a "shocker". What's shocking is they couldn't clear any contracts to keep Misa or Chernyshov.
Interesting is why the hawks took on the Ellis contract. MG now using the options he created.
Jake Furlong is from my home city of Halifax and played with the Mooseheads. Was dying to see him in teal.
Excellent breakdown and a nice tidy bit of work by GMMG. Reminds me of the moves he made last season (Regenda, Duehr, etc.) to improve the Cuda.
I also see this as the first of more moves to come.
I hope this is just an adding insurance and strengthening the Barracuda move. However, the team still needs to offload a contract prior to Misa playing his 10th NHL game.
As a hawks fan, this was a trade to do right by Brossoit and Allan. Brossoit to give him a shot at the backup next year and for Allan he was just knocked out due to the depth of the hawks D corps.
I genuinely think Allan can be a solid 3rd pair guy long term in the NHL. He will not score you goals, but he can play at the NHL level and give you 12-15min of physical defensive play.
I wish him well
GMMG is on the move
I don't want even the idea of giving up ned! Him and asky are doing great, we need both
"Shocker"?
The Sharks just got themselves their #3 defenseman for the next decade in Nolan Allan.
Aaron Dell and Aiden Hill were GREAT when they had propper defense in front of them. Didn't Hill win a cup with the Knights!??
We need solid defensive defensemen. Getting an Offensive defenseman is going to be too expensive. Let the forwards do the scoring and get dman that can stop them and get the puck moving the other way.
