Not sure i like any of of the players mentioned, they all make too much money for what they bring to table, most noticable is Schenn, who looks to be about done. My advice to Tre'…hold on to the future, like Knies, Cowan, Danford, and stop paying way too much for players who have very little gas left in the tank

The smart move for the Maple Lozers is to see what is up with Anders Lee from the mighty NYI – he does nothing but win faceoffs, win puck battles, and is a beast to move in front of the net … he'd be huge for your two snippers – the kind of low end torque the heart and souless Lozers need! That's if the NYI want to trade him.

Stand pat. Leafs have traded the farm for a decade to reach the 2nd rd. I know its not flashy, but Marner leaves and we have too many roster players for spots. This was always the complaint. Let them figure it out.
An aging team on the way down is not well served to trade more prospects and picks for veterans. It might help stave off the inevitable for a little while. Ask the Rangers how the JT Miller add is going?
Brayden Schenn is a 34 year old center whose numbers have gone 65-46-50 the last three years and he's 19 points in 47 games this year so looking at 36 points.
He makes $6.5 million for this year and two more. St Louis has been trying to dump this guy for two years. Now why do you want him? The Leafs have 3$ million in space because Stolarz and Mermis are on LTIR. Are they adding Tanev to that?
And what are you giving to add this veteran contract from a guy who is degrading each year.

If Treliving makes any trades that makes the Leafs older, he should be summarily fired. Last year’s trades for veterans created huge prospect and draft losses, with no playoff success. Why on earth would this team not learn from this? Further trades of this type will destroy their future.

I don't think we can work with Armstrong. His asking prices would be a bad value trade. We can make better deals. Although, not sure I feel comfortable with Tree making deals after last year. He gets taken advantage of every time. Would rather no deal than to lose a trade.

i like faulk and have brouht him up months ago in armchair gms . I definitrly think theres a trade to be made as long as they dont wnt to much. I dont see a package with Schenn however I do definitely see a package with Bjugstad perfect time for the to get him he hasnt been good offensively ths season. Hes a huge 6 foot 6 Centre would fit AMAZINGLY into the 4C slot I would LOVE to see between Laughton and Lorentz. Hes EXACTLY what the leafs need hes even RH Giving the Leafs 2 RH and 2 LH faceiff guys .

if you can get those 2 guys without giving up Cowanyou do it, The Line or Joshua 6'3 218, Bjugstad 6'6 220 and Lorentz 6'4 220 would be a DEADLY line in the playoffs.I Like laughton but hed not best as a centre. we want him on the LW. Its extrely doable salary cap wise. All they have to do is get Mermis,Benning all the bulk off the cap waive them do whatever to send them down, Trade Macielli+Benoit in the trade going the other way and the cap ABSOLUTELY works taking on Faulks full cap hit.

The leafs have no idea on how to build a winning team . No idea how to build chemistry . They alwsys think they one or two players away every year . They trade prospects , draft choices for players who dont fit ot wont make a difference . You only have to look at montreal .even Buffalo has done better

They are long shot to make the playoffs .

If this trade happen tree needs to be fired. Trading young players for spare parts from other teams is just a bad use of assets. Again if this happens its time to find a new team and everyone in the organization should be fired
