Absolutely Not. 9 Million cap hit and a 7 million bonus owed that the Devils don't want to pay. He'll be making more money than Mo and Ed. Playing softer minutes. That in itself can mess up a locker room.

What's being overlooked is Chiarot and AlJo can both play the right side proficiently. Moving one of them and adding a long term LD would be more beneficial. If they want to add RD I would call St Louis about Faulk or Parayko.
For Hamilton you would need New Jersey to retain salary. Hamilton still plays good defense and that's what Detroit needs. At 6'6 you have another defender to help your "D"core.
why Robert Thomas isn’t talked about is crazy. Blues hurtling towards a rebuild, Wings have 1-2 sentient centermen at any given time, teams have dealt in the past a LOT, his contract is beautiful, plays the style Todd likes. He NEEDS to be target number 1 imo. you want a defenseman? Throw in a few more picks and get Faulk on the same plane…
