Keep pumping up Samoskevich mate, someone has to.
You know it is a goal SCORING competition right? doesn't matter how many time you shoot the puck at the goalie if they NEVER go in
You know what is worst than that … Habs were not complete either yesterday !?!
We're paying the toll for the back to back cups. Also, 2 words, Seth Griffith.
Give an inch they take a mile.
I wish Marchand would have played and taken his beating for his dirty play in the last game. All it does is delay his punishment.
Cry me a river. MTL has been loaded whit injuries for the past 100 years . Difference is this time around they could have more injuries and still be a good team. A good team has talent , a great team has talent in the big club and the farm
Go Pens!!! I'm from Pittsburgh…
GG fla, im looking forward to seeing barky back one day – he is definitely my favorite of your players. You guys always keep my blood pressure up.
We have 6 mainstay injured as well so i feel your pain, hope yall get healthy soon.
Injuries are becoming too much to overcome at this rate. We’re an incredibly deep team but that means nothing when our top players and our depth are both all out with injuries. The guys we have replacing them just aren’t up to snuff. Obviously Barkov and Tkachuk’s impact is felt hard, but our 4th line being out really hurts too as they bring a nasty physical presence to the game whilst also being excellent at hemming team in on the forcheck and playing well in their own end. The current group of guys we’ve got playing on the 4th line just don’t stack up unfortunately.
In addition to that, Jones being out is really being felt. I’ll say it again, he’s been our best defenseman by far this year and his ability to move the puck is huge on the breakout and when transitioning through the neutral zone. Add in the fact that he also runs the offense from the point, especially on the power play and that he logs big minutes every night and you can see where his loss has really turned shit on its head for us. Getting Marchy and maybe Tkachuk back would be big. But losing Seth is going to make this month super difficult.
The goal for us needs to be to stay in the hunt by the time the Olympics start. It’s nice three week long break and we’re expected to have everyone back sans Kulikov and Barkov when the season resumes after the break. Stay in hunt, get guys healthy again, get back into contention and roll into the playoffs getting guys back healthy.
Montreal is just a better team now . We just have to accept it .
Idk but a team’s success is direct result of combined talent/skill. We are missing those key pieces that bring it all together. You’re asking these guys to play these lines and pairings they’re not in sync with. It’s a skill and mental game. For now, they’re losing one. They need to keep the effort and keep going. Also, proof on how each of these players are so essential to their success. Jones – my god. What an impact player.
Habs Injuries (Patrick Laine, 2nd Line Center Kirby Dach, Best Shutdown Defenseman Kaiden Ghule, Alex Newhook, Jake Evans, Power Forward Josh Anderson). The Habs are one of the top skilled teams in the league. Injuries are just excuses.
The habs are on fire as of late , gotta give them some credit
Hey, Habs fan here. I think this season is a gift in disguise. Go fetch a good player at the draft, then you'll get all of the injured players back and you will start dominating again next year. I do not think you guys are bottom-bound, but injuries man, it destroys seasons.
The compressed schedule is brutal for all the teams. They are averaging a game every 2nd night for a month or more, tougher than a deep playoff run. Montreal is the youngest team in the league. They have lost just as many important players as Florida. They currently have 7 players out of the line up. But they have the strength of youth combined with talent, which Florida doesn't have. Paul Maurice said that Montreal was a big problem because he didn't know to prepare a game plan against them. They are too dynamic a team and he didn't know what to expect. Montreal's 2nd line, which was their 3rd line at the start of the season (their 2nd line was wiped out by injury), has Kapanen at 22 yrs old , Slafkovsky 21 and Demidov 20. It's hard to keep up with that.
What’s interesting about the second is that the panthers were far better than the habs once the game really sped up. Probably due to having better structure. Similar to how they kept pace with Colorado in the win.
yeah, turns out aleksander barkov is a top 5 player in the NHL
I am a Habs fan… With fully crewed rosters on either side I would still take the Panthers hands down over the Habs if they meet in playoffs, at least at this point in Habs development… maybe not the same story in a couple years… But Panthers fan have to ask themselves if they will even be in the palyoffs this year, it looks pretty iffy, that would be my main concern at this time.
Go Habs Go ❤
Tampa beat these guy ''Les Montreal Canadien'' with their back up in net… Be humble because rn the Panthers made many enemies…
