The New York Rangers are very likely to miss the playoffs for a 2nd consecutive season, and with that being the case, this team needs to look towards the future. Even though this season seems to be a lost cause, they can still look to strengthen the team going forward, and there are many ways they could do that. Selling off all those players would mean The Rangers wouldn't be relevant for at least the next 2-3 years until the young talent can mature. If it ever does
Parsinnen has been injured & hasn't been playing for Hartford. He & Sheary will interest no one. Panarin, Soucy & Raddysh will likely be moved. Raddysh is the poster boy for Drury incompetence. A top 5 draft choice would be the best we could hope for from this dreadful season. Ranger fans need to keep up the fire Drury chant, even though Dolan is a pigheaded fool & likely will not be swayed unless revenue drops a lot.
The terrible record accurately reflects the decline in play – and in every area.

Right now the Rangers are a mix of pieces from different puzzles – they don't fit together and don't form a picture.
A shrewd GM could trade the pieces that don't fit for ones that do; in the alternate could tank ferociously by calling up all the tough guys from Hartford(The one resource we have plenty of). Go down fighting…we'll get the draft picks, fans would again at least enjoy the games, softness would be banished.
Will this happen? Hell,no. Same old, same old comin' right up.
Seems like im the only one disagreeing about moving Soucy. He's a stay at home D, throws his body around, has a nice shot and pinches well. He also has a +7 rating last i checked
