Ppl are overthinking the whole "Kevyn Adams was fired, that's why" narrative. The streak started BEFORE the firing. Number 2, these are professional athletes… if they didn't play up to their full potential before due to a SUIT in the box up top, that is some bs in and of itself. These guys should try to and want to win every single game they step on that ice. I just don't believe that they all of a sudden learned how to play great hockey overnight after a firing. They've always had this potential. I watch every Sabres game. They have shown flashes of being a legit playoff team, it's just their consistency has always been their downfall. There comes a time with every team that they mature and the chemistry just finally starts clicking… that is what happened to these Sabres. It has nothing to do with them firing a guy that actually BUILT this roster.
Dahlin has actually been off all year, understandably, but hes played up to his potential before, dont know what you mean by this year hes finally reached it. Power also has not really turned it around either. Norris and Samuelsson have been the big suprises
