Habs looking great tonight. But I've said it a million times, the goalie shouldn't go behind the net unless he knows in advance what he's going to do with the puck. It's not a place for improvisation. Stay in the crease if you're tempted to chance it. It's just the kind of situation where somebody like Bennett is ready to make you regret it.

Florida getting pissy over a clean hit, with Sam Bennett on their team, a man who never met a goalie he couldn't concuss from behind, just made my irony meter explode. Bennett's mentality is the same as Lucic, all kinds of talent and toughness, but can't stop being the filthy, cowardly, scumbag, they are at heart. I hate the Leafs with a passion, but what he did to Stolarz in the playoffs last year was egregiously gutless, and a deliberate intent to injure. I don't care how slight it looked, Stolarz was puking on the bench and out for months.
