They have little talent in the minors, and there are no real impact free agent forwards under 30 on the market. They have to trade Panarin and should probably move Trochek as well.
You have way too much confidence in Fox. Fox is ONE DIMENSIONAL guy that plays zero defense, gives up as many goals as he scores points. Only reason he was on ice for the successful PP is because Sully is a fool As you know, he didn't use him on PP1 in teh 4 Nation. He's a liability. Now he's butt sore cause he was left off Olympic Team. he's a baby and fragile. You can't praise him like he's Makar or Quinn Husghes. He's not even Luke. He's one step up from Shattenkirk.
There’s no player development with the Rangers. They’re the worst organization in hockey at player development. Trading Panarin is the move to make but do you trust the fucking MORON Drury to make the proper trade?
Yes, trade Panny. But fans shouldn’t expect all that great a return. He’s a rental who does a Houdini act in the playoffs. Everyone who follows the sport knows that, not just Ranger fans.
Fox is not the difference maker you all seem to think he is . We have no real talent in Hartford. Igor being hurt is tough but not the end of the season

They don’t trust the young guys but this team is old and slow. The kids absolutely must play and develop. The Rangers cannot buy championships with a salary cap. The kids have to play. The season is over. Let the kids play
Fox is actually inconsequential at this point. The team knew that when they pursued Q Hughes. Yes the PP is better with him but that’s 1 dimensional and what he excels at is keeping the puck in at the offensive blue line. That’s it. He’s a defensive liability. He gave up 3 breakaways in the Utah game. 2 saves by the goalies and one great play by Gav to cover his ass.
Losing Igor hurts but Quick is good.
Point being, how much of a difference have those 2 made to this point of the season? As far as Panarin goes, anything 4 years or less for $10m or less they should sign him. If he wants more than that trade him. There is no one available that will impact the lineup over the next few years like he would.
Is Drury trying to save his job by actually making decisions to tank the rest of the season?
Serious kudos for doing the work of releasing these videos consistently, I'm sure it's not easy. Was about to subscribe until I saw your latter segment recapping NYR Louie's projections for trade returns – instantly unsubbed. Serious reporting should not take that account seriously, give his takes a platform, nor should anyone consider his fanfiction on trade returns as actual league insight. Outsider-fanboy-turned-hater-engagement-farmer with no real insight into how NHL GMs or front office think.
I look forward to checking out other videos as they skim across my page but will remained unsubbed for now. I try to leave the unserious fan delusions as fact back on twitter where it belongs. All the best to the channel regardless.

Panarin, Trocheck, Soucy, Borgen, Carrick and Mika should all be traded. 2026 draft is exceptional. The Rangers could wind up with 4-5 first round picks and 3-4 NHL ready young prospects .
What you are advocating hasn’t worked ever! The Rangers have done what you want them to which is why they have 1 Cup in 85 years
You seem like a nice kid. Well let’s just say your hockey experience is limited. Unfortunately, the general manager is an utter disaster. Probably the worst general manager I’ve seen in my lifetime and I’m 67 years old so I’ve been following the Rangers for over 60 years. Chris Drury has no idea what he’s doing, and James Dolan has no intention of firing him so I’m sorry Ranger fans we are doomed. Every move that Chris has made has been a disaster. He traded away a plethora of talent and received literally nothing in return. We have lost Kreider,Trouba,Kakko, Chytil and K’andre and received A 50 year old JT and Scott Morrow?!! If Drury would intentionally try to ruin the team it wouldn’t be this bad! I guarantee this team does not make the playoffs even with a full roster. And I guarantee when he makes trades now at the deadline they will be a disaster. I’m sure he will trade away Braden Schneider for a fourth round draft pick and even if he was able to get a first round pick for Panarin the player he would draft would be horrible. Brennan Othmann can’t even make the squad with 10 guys injured. This is really the first season where I don’t even look forward to the game being on. It’s a nightmare, please Mr. Dolan I have one thing to say to you. Fire, Chris Drury fire Chris Drury fire Chris Drury fire Chris Drury.
