   Who ever trades for Hughes, for what they give up, they will lose the trade. Hughes is not a leader, and a horrible defenseman. I wonder sometimes if people understand that a dman needs to be good defensively. One game recently he had 2pts and was still a -3. I have no idea how people think he is so awesome.

   People love to talk about the players quitting but its ALWAYS Canucks management approaching them asking them if they're okay with being traded that starts this shit. Can't blame the players for becoming disgruntled with the dogshit management and ownership. Even the same shit happened to EP40, management threatened to trade him so his was like "Fuck it, I'll just sign for as much as I can and stop caring just to spite them for fucking with me". Canucks owners and management suck fat chode when it comes to respecting their superstar players tbh.

    Trade Quinn Hughes to the Sharks. The Sharks can trade draft picks which are likely to be pretty good picks. He's obviously done with the Canucks.

    Any Quinn Hughes trade should prob be treated as a rental. Nobody going to be thinking long term with Quinn when he's bolting to NJ as soon as his contract expires.

    Grav buddy, love ya, but youve only played street/roller hockey. As someone who served as team captain majority of my playing days, i cant necessarily condone how Quinns carrying himself this season, but 3 straight years of non stop drama in a market like Vancouver, with no true steps forward, and management who loves him, but isnt working to support him/surround him with better talent. Typical Vancouver mis management. Hes the best captain theyve ever had, not just talent wise. But theyve been ringing him dry like hes a damp towl for 2 full years now. At some point, you gotta stand up for yourself & obviously hes sent clear messages with his body language & lack of effort. Its nothing management hasnt done to him, MULTIPLE times now.

    Edit, at least you said you understand how one could fall into this situation. But i dont think its unacceptable tbh, i usually would never say this but with how respectful Quinn is, im sure hes held back a LOT of dirt on management.

    Im not sure what NJ has to offer but Detroit can include a package around a future Quinn replacement in APS and Philly can offer a package around Michkov. As a Wings fan APS, Kasper, Soderblom and a 1st should do it.

    He's going to New Jersey he isn't going to a team that isn't cup ready that wouldn't make sense. So my Blues are definitely out of the question I don't think we have the cap space and we signed a bunch of questionable no movement contracts. Yes I'm talking about Kyrou and Buch.

    Seems he is so focused on keeping the razzel dazel up he can't see the team mates, and then throws the puck away. Passes seem to hard to receive as well.

    They just need to work on their accuracy. Not hitting the goalie or the post so much. Being to slow on the puck, and throwing it away to often. When they work hard on the puck they are good.

    The Canucks don't even have to offer retained salary. The Wings can take his full remaining contract and use that to their advantage for the price going back. ASP and Kasper + 1st and 2nd for Hughes either during the season or in the offseason. That's almost an overpay, but to the delusional casuals that think they'll be getting Raymond (with possibly the best value contract in the league at 8million) in return plus a 1st or something, you're kidding yourself.
