I try to never forget this one
(EDITED) Great for Matthews. However, the thumbnail has Devils fans in the background, which is now fixed
NHLS GREATEST GOAL SCORER. ON TO 500!
Was firing savard all it took for this guy to start beasting again lol
I've seen Sittler pass Keon, Sundin pass Sittler and, now Matthews passes Sundin. I am old.
What a sad, pathetic franchise the Toronto Maple Leafs are honestly. Congratulations to Matthews, but the guy has only been in the league for nine years and heโs breaking the all-time leafs scoring record. The leafs are an original 6 team. A guy shouldnโt come along and only play nine seasons to pass a scoring record on a franchise that is well over 100 years old. That tells you everything about this franchise. Where is our Rocket Richard, Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky, or Mario Lemieux etc.. I believe Sidney Crosby just passed Mario Lemieux for the all-time points leader in Pittsburgh, took him 22 years. A guy gets drafted in 2016 and here we are in 2025 surpassing the Toronto Maple Leafs all-time scoring record.
๐บ๐ธ ๐Matthews 9 points away on passing the late great Bรถrje Salming ๐ธ๐ช
Also saw them loose the game in overtime lol ๐
Congrats To Matthews!!!! Awesome Auston!!!!๐๐๐ค๐๐โ๏ธ
And the Leafs still lost. Just another player wasting his career in Toronto.
A healthy Matthews could get 600, 700, 800, or 900 goals.
I love that they're all happy for him. Especially Domi. Not only did he go grab the puck but I love the little jump he made at 0:54 when Papi scored ๐ฅนโค๏ธโค๏ธ
This season has been so depressing but its so nice to see matthews play like matthews again regardless of loss
