Rod Langway, famous American defenseman, wasn't US-born either. Brett Hull was genuine as a US player. We've had ringers on our team in the past, but Hull wasn't one of them.
Biggest and most welcome suprise is Samuelsson. Most wanted him gone, bad penalties, slow reaction time, not sticking up for teammates to now producing and playing sound. (throwing salt over my left shoulder as I write this.)
Sabres looked dominant tonight vs the Blues. I believe they could make the playoffs and make noise when in.We'll see.
