As an AVs fan, I'm furious that Jason Robertson is not on the US team–and he's a Dallas Star! Auston Matthews?? Matthew Tkachuk??He's not even playing right now–no idea what he'll do in Milan. Probably get injured again like he did at 4 Nations last year. Great job America–our team sucks!
This isn't the same team that's going to give up and fall apart. They're not playing Don Granato hockey anymore. They're not children anymore. They're not going to be pushovers anymore. Buffalo hockey is BACK. That win against Dallas was no luck, that was pure dominance and relentlessness.

I don't understand this Eastern Conference is bad narrative, I think that's incredibly lazy commentary. The lowest team in the Eastern Conference has a .512 points %. Literally there's not a single losing team in the Eastern Conference. The western conference has 6 teams at or below .500 that all the other teams are getting fat off of. The Sabres would be LEADING the Pacific Division right now. The western conference has 3 good teams and then 13 teams that wouldn't be in the wildcard right in the East. What are we talking about here. Columbus (Bottom of the East) would be 1 point out of a wildcard in the West. Insane Narrative.
