The Anaheim Ducks battle the Tampa Bay Lightning in a wild 4–3 overtime loss that somehow included the funniest penalty of the season, as Mikael Granlund flailed like a toddler while being wrapped up by Max Crozier. Despite questionable officiating and the Ducks getting no favors from the refs, Anaheim showed resilience and played one of their strongest defensive games of the month against a top team. Nikita Nesterenko rang one off the post early, Jacob Trouba made a huge goal-saving play, and Ross Johnston helped spark elite fourth-line offense with a beautiful setup for Jansen Harkins. Mason McTavish, Beckett Sennecke, and Pavel Mintyukov combined for clutch third-period moments, including a power-play shakeup that paid off after Jackson LaCombe lost a skate blade. Lukas Dostal battled all night, but late defensive breakdowns — including a tough overtime sequence involving Leo Carlsson and LaCombe — allowed Tampa Bay to grab the extra point. Four straight losses for the Ducks, but plenty to like heading into the next matchup as Anaheim looks to bounce back in 2026. #nhl #anaheimducks #hockey #tampabaylightning

well……. it was fun while it lasted.
3 old guys out, and the team looks better. It's just fun watching Ross boss develop from a pugilist to a hard nosed grinder. Hands and feet of stone, but he'll make the other team earn every inch and go to the front of the net where kreider seems to have forgotten to go. I'll go out to say that of our ufas this offseason, he is deserving a new contract.
It’s been rough stretch for us but we still in good hands 🙌
I like hockey
Refs obviously had bets on Tampa
