Habby New Year everyone, especially the rookies of the month Ivan Demidov and Alexander Zharovsky
Demidov didn't get the ice time in the KHL as Zharovsky is getting. Zharovsky's diddling in the KHL will not necessarily transfer to the NHL – he can't skate… He would be run over like a child in the NHL. You can watch his his actual games here on YT… He looks like a child. However, it doesn't mean that he can't be developed.

Let us not forget that Demi was benched for a lot of games for no reasons maybe political reasons and that's why Alexander is Within Reach of his record not to take anything away from Alexander just putting it out there.

Glad to see Dobes in net tonight. I hope we have a strong game and beat the Hurricanes. They are due to come back to earth, we need to pound them.

Not necessarily a “must win“ game… But it would be great to show the NHL that they are capable of going on a roll. 👍
Having games in hand means that you have played fewer games than the other team, so in fact it's the Habs that have 2 games in hand, which puts them in a good position to catch the teams ahead of them.
They have 8 games in the next 13 nights, with 2 back to backs and travel. It's OK to use 3 goalies for this stretch, then they can decide what to do.
The entire eastern conference is shook of the habs future . Lots of money in the bank ,some contracts will be gone soon . We are going to be a beast of a team
I'd like Engstrom to continue to get the majority of the minutes over Struble because he's clearly an NHL player, and if they hope for Rheinbacher to join the team next year, that's going to be a LOT easier if Engstrom has 60 games of experience. They have to manage the games in front of them, but also the pipeline.
Here are my thoughts:
1. We clearly saw Dobby can have 2 straight great starts, but a 3rd one is too much.
2. Struble gotta go, I can't see his place in Habs future
Excellent episode. Every game is "must win" until there's a bigger spread between the top 3 Atlantic and the 4th place.
The Olympic pressure is off of montembeault. Watch him catch fire.
They must win because we hate the canes.

Demidov doesn't play to score points. He plays to win games. Like all of these Habs. None of them are self-absorbed clowns like Auston.
Think about that before you make dopey statements about his points.
6:13 It seems to me that by this statistic, Hutson is obviously our best defenseur. Plus, he is adorable… This chart also makes Xhekaj look comparable top Matheson, both of whom seem a little below Dobson….Watch carefully when you see Struble play in his own zone. He chases people up higher than the dots where the wings are supposed to be working, not the D…. Regarding the goalies, I am good with your plan Josh. If Monty can play well enough, we can be ok waiting til next year for Fowler unless an emergency happens.
You think Struble has learned his lesson because he has made many mental mistakes.?
Happy new year everyone. I don't think anyone genuinely thinks Zharovsky is as good as Demidov. Demivdov rarely played on the first line powerplay for his team which helps explain why Zharovsky is outpacing him.
habs have had the luxury this season of playing against the most number of backup goalies compared to any other team. definitely a factor.
I'd like to see Owen Beck get recalled and replace Joe Veleno at center .
Hi, why a must win? Nuance z doesn't play were the good rich teams are= not playing against the best often, plus side on a weaker team, he gets tons of ice time, so nuance with comparisons with ivan/khl😮
