When You Try to Replace the Best Player in the World..

Nathan MacKinnon looks unstoppable. The Colorado Avalanche are rolling. The best player in the NHL debate feels settled. Then December hits. Connor McDavid flips the league upside down and the conversation changes fast. Who actually owns the crown right now? MacKinnon vs McDavid, Hart Trophy race, and why momentum is not the same as dominance.

  1. if it wasnt for the pp mcmuffin would have like 10 points every season lol . i think in 2022 like 80% of his points were on the pp

  2. MacKinnon wins over McDavid, he is a better goal scorer and doesn't have Drai to feed on the power play. Goals win games (period)

  3. Nathan MacKinnon is the best player in the world. Proven, multiple times.

You don't have to like it, but it's not incorrect.

  4. Mack is the best, and has been for 3 seasons now. McDavid is amazing of course, but saying it’s “his league” is laughable at this point.

  5. I know they don’t ask how, they ask how many, but honestly HOW McDavid scores is what separates him for me. The guy is just a highlight machine. And he also does get more points lol. If you asked Nate, he’d say 97 is better. This is coming from a die hard Avs fan

  6. I know +- isn’t all that but it has to mean something! If Mack ends up 50 points better in +than Connor is it significant? Good lord. 5v5 McDavid is a draw.
