He's a rookie who hasn't been in north America for too long. The fact he's producing as well as he has at this point is amazing. He's already improved his defensive game since the start of the season. Im pretty sure if he us being sheltered it's to focus on his strengths and to get his confidence up. The kid belongs in the big leagues.
Absolutely ZERO worries!! He will get better the more ice time he sees.
I will bet as he gets more and more time on the ice he'll get better as he figures the game out as well.
