Another one goal clunker. No heart. No intensity. No respect for the fans. The team plays like they have already given up. Pathetic and frustrating. Fire Tom Fitzgerald already. If they even make the playoffs this year, they're going to be a quick first round exit. Its disappointing.
The offense is one issue. What disturbed me about this game was the Markstrom play where he shot it directly into Siegenthaler. Why in TF is he ALL the way out of his net trying to surprise his own defenseman at a completely random time in the game? And then, when he sees Siegenthaler in front of him, why does he then choose to shoot the puck directly into his knees instead of just leaving it for Siegs to play? Absolute brainlock by Markstrom. Lack of poise, lack of composure, and lack of brains.
