The goalie had plenty of time to reset himself and he did. But the goalie and the defense just allowed him to walk through them.
Guys it’s not the tendys fault its Matthew’s the guy is waiting the puck while samuleson out skates him if Matthew’s dindt had waited for the puck none of this would had happen
Whenever Hildeby is in net its a "dang-it". I don't even watch when I know he's in. The leafs are an entire team of "dang its". At least I won't have to deal with a disappointing playoff run this year.
Watching this game last night and as soon as the goalie did that I looked at my wife and said oh we're scoring now for sure that was dumb 🤣 and sure enough! Let's go wings! It's our year to make it back to the playoffs baby!

It's not Matthew's fault, other than being a Leaf. Pound for pound, Sweden is easily the best hockey nation, Canada should learn something from them as they fade from being 100% of the NHL to long term, probably 20 to 25% of all players in the NHL.
