I also had started to accept that Vegas was going to win BUT regardless of the final outcome, I enjoy the Avalanche too much to not finish the game.

Such a fun watch along, this game was just pure chaos, slop and jank everywhere and then we turned god mode on for period 3 and dominated them LMFAO

Can someone explain how a mediocre player like Colton Sissons absolutely owns the Avs every time we play him? He's got 98 career goals, and 11 of those are against the Avs. That's more than 11% of his total. Whether Nashville or Vegas, no matter the year, the Avs just can't seem to contain Colton F_cking Sissons!
How about Sam Malinski taking 8 attempted shots in a row.

The thought had creeped into my mind, just a tad. However, I didn't once conclude this game over at 4-2. That's something that someone new to Avs hockey would do.

THAT game was indeed "something else" & that 3rd period + the shootout was A-MA-Zing to watch. Also Amazing & equally entertaining… RUDO your game recaps are the BEST. I look forward to & really enjoy each & every game recap… these are so VERY well analyzed, well crafted, Brutally Honest, no make that "Fairly" honest, in always pointing out BOTH the Good AND the Bad. Im a big fan of Marty and no one expects him to be good defender, but he just stopped skating and let the guy go alone. Marty can defend badly, but must at least try!

Man totally makes sense how you never lose when you’re a great team and get puck luck like that. Sheesh.
How many teams have: Nelson, Makar, MacKinnon, Lehky, Necas, and Landy for a 6 on 5? Nobody has that kind of talent. I wished the Avs could find a way to ask the NHL for a 6 on 5 for a power play. Because each time on in a 6-5 situation, the Avs seems to score. These guys just refused to lose. Even in the OT, MacKinnon and Nelson got post that were inches away from it being over at that point. That's not to even mention the last 10 minutes of the game and the chances the Avs had.
I love the Avs.
4th goal was a devon toews error, not val, the forward was deeper in the neutral zone and Toews should have picked him up well before Val had to backcheck a player. Worst game from Toews this year, and the offensive production should have everyone worried.
