Florida is coming off a 4-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.
The Panthers trailed 3-1 before Brad Marchand scored a power play goal in the second; overall, the Panthers were 1-11 on the power play in the game.
Eetu Luostarinen also scored.
The Panthers kicked off a run of three games in the next four days in a five-game homestand that includes Friday’s Winter Classic in Miami.
The Washington Capitals visit Sunrise on Monday.

It would be cool if we could get better audio for the reporter's questions or maybe subtitles. A lot of interviews I can't hear what questions are being asked
