The Toronto Maple Leafs Are Officially BROKEN..

The Toronto Maple Leafs have given up. After what was their most promising season a few short months ago, the Leafs have started to come undone through the first three months of this campaign. Laziness, lack of coaching, no culture, are a few terms being associated with Toronto right now, and fans are not exactly thrilled by this effort from the organization. So today let’s breakdown this lackluster start to the season for Toronto’s hockey team and determine if this is a just a slump or something much much bigger. 1. They traded the wrong player away. Should of got rid of Mathews and got a couple decent players or first round pick plus. They play better without Mathews like last year in the playoffs. He comes back and they get best 7-2 wtf. He spends more time injured and his glory day's are gone and eventually no one will want to pay any money for mathews. What a disgrace the leads are now. Beer league players probably do better at this point tbh

  2. NMC are an albatross.

Taking the C off a player is classless..and Cactus was classless for accepting it.

Like Doug "Babysitter" Gilmour was classless when he didnt hand it back to Wendel Clark.

  3. Ye trading Marner instead of Justin Bieber was never going to solve the issue was it? Shocker!!

  4. I have an idea…don’t play in Toronto. Problem solved

Edit: the problem is the fans, and most of all, the media there. Not to mention the taxes take half their money while an 81-1-0 season would be considered a failure and the media would tear apart the team and players for that 1 loss. It’s the worst place in all of hockey.

  5. NMC/NTC's have Screwed Toronto for the next 5 to 8 years. Since we Drafted Mathews we have traded away 40+ Draft picks since then..
And our next 2 years maybe even 3 years of 1st rnd picks are gona already

  6. Leafs got no defence and as good as Matthews and Nylander can be, they'r hardly McDavid and Draisatl who can carry a team deep into the playoffs.

  7. 2028 can’t come soon enough. The day Matthew’s aka ‘Captain Underpants’ leaves this team , that’s when things will start to turn around. Guy is a metastasizing cancer. If this is what he’s like in the spotlight, I dread to think what he’s like behind the scenes. Guy’s a toxic pant load. Go leafs go. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
    Cheers 😎

  8. Marner was never the problem giving Matthew’s the C was. You ever played hockey growing up? The ONLY time a pure goal scorer got the C is if it was the coaches son. Team needs a complete rebuild

  9. At least the blue jays are making moves and seem interested and determined to win. I’m very disappointed in my Leafs right now

  10. Montreal lost its entire 2nd line and a top 4 dman and are still in the running despite being the youngest team in the NHL. Torontos biggest problem is they might have the least mobile non puck moving dcore in hockey . And the forwards up front dont play with heart , Tavares had somehow escaped blame for his entire tenure in Toronto as a failure in terms of team success

  11. Pretty fair breakdown, to me this team shows just how much they miss Mitch Marner. he gave an undefinable cohesion that is obviously causing a complete identity crisis. think about it, he was top power play penalty kill and playmaker on the team and one of the top in the league.

that glaring hole in their lineup is just showing how important it must have been. I don't know any other explanation for this unbelievable collapse.

  12. The fans – not the management, owners, or players – are ultimately responsible for everything, from standings to salaries to trades to ticket prices. Patronage is the purse string. Last place in division and tickets increasing? Fans are idiots. No championship in almost 6 decades? Fans are idiots. Multimillion-dollar players underperforming? Fans are idiots.
