I dunno, sounds like Quinn was checking out a while ago for a variety of other reasons. I think trading him was a win-win for both sides. For the record, I still believe in EP40.
Makes sense why Petty was not named as one of the guys present at Queen Hughes’s last supper
This should not be surprising to anyone. They are 2 different players in their approach to the game. One will win a cup, the other will not. EP40 needs to be on a team where is around 3 or 4 on the depth chart of talent. He can not carry a team to a cup. Trade deadline would be a place I would off load him for maximum value…as long as he is healthy by then. Load up on young players and picks. Canucks need to build on the QH return. Demmer must be the same appoach. He will be too old by the time the next wave of talent hits their stride. Get value for him while we can.
Patterson’s wife had a miscarriage he’s probably got more important things to be doing like comforting his wife.
Canucks gm is absolutely useless. He doesn't show up to the drafts, doesn't handle trades, rarely makes media announcements….why is everything surrounding management and the owners so shady??
I am not sure Quinnton should be talking about work ethic or puck hogging.
But EP40 needs to step up for the next years. And he wants that.
So not worried about him. Quinnton should be worried about winning the cup actually.
He may never.
Yes EP40 caused both to leave
Nope. Petey had nothing to do with anyone leaving. Miller went bonkers. Hughes was always leaving the Canucks. He never once said anything that remotely could be construed as “I want to be here.”
Petey is committed to staying. Yes, he has problems. Commitment is to
Vancouver is not one of them. Yes, it’s more money than some want to pay him. But he obviously wants to be here.
Well, there’s reason he might want out. Irrational fans who cannot make up their minds. “A player signed too long!! It’s too much. Get rid of him.” “Oh why? What’s wrong with us? Why wouldn’t you sign?”
Step back and see it for what it is. Quinn was never signing here. Rutherford played chess and won! Great work!
Petey is a Selke-worthy player, who will be returning to a rejuvenated lineup, with lines that are finally structured correctly. He will totally be pumped.
If Quinn Hughes was frustrated with EP 40, having EP 40 on the team will continue to be an issue. If the Canucks continue to cater to EP 40, who will be the next to show they want to leave. EP 40 needs to go!!!
GO CANUCKS GO 💯👍🏼💪💯👍🏼
Pettersson wasnt there and neither was Demko. They already had plans and Hughes was the only one that knew he was gone. He didnt even tell a teammate… He immediately went to his brothers place
Maybe the common denominator of all these players miller, Hughes, and petey…. is vancuever?
1:55 wow that was gr8 open ice hit 🎯😂 on your hockey 🏒 your playing …it's even 💪 showed it twice 😁
No wonder this management hasnt a clue whats happening in the canucks locker room, maybe we would have Horvat instead of Miller!
Quit talking about this goof
Come on right from the start you know JR runs the show. Alvin is merely a puppet and cleans up the small crap like you said.
Petey is the problem
We used to see him at Telus Downtown Van all the time..The dude has a major attitude problem
He's Weird!!
Miller , Brock and others used to go out of their way for fans but nope not Petey…He waived them off..
Never took Pics or signed Autographs
Seen him there several times so it wasnt an One Off day thing like having a bad day or something
Read an article about him not getting along with the Sedins
Wow..Should have kept Miller and traded Petey long ago
His work ethic SUC$S too
Can we finally address that the elephant in the room is EP40? This will be the only time I will post this and don't want to be negative with this team. He has put this city on the map in a negative way and players in the entire league are on notice. Petterson has become the handicap brother with autism which you have to explain to new friends when they come by your house. You have to tell them to whisper because he is sensitive to noise and have to explain to your friends to repeatedly tell him that he is special. You can't hate on him because he's family and he's with you for life with 11.6mil reasons to why. Vancouver Canucks very own idiot savant. Our permanent 3rd line center. Unfortunately, we ride or die with EP40 and either buying out or trading him will hurt the Canucks. By God's miracle he would be cured in any of his 8 years here. It's not up to us to believe in him, it's up to him to show us fans to believe in him.
