  1. This is what happens at the end of every regular season. Teams play loose nothing to lose and with that tryout attitude Let's hope it goes for a while but I'm not holding my breath

  2. Tank or not, that was a fun game to watch! And they did not give up! Can’t blame them for not tanking now.

  3. Regarding: "I know we're in this Tank Mindset where it doesn't really matter if they win or lose." lol Speak for yourself! I have never been on Team Tank & I never will be. True hockey fans do not just give up on their team.. Go Canucks!

  4. Quinn was over used and predictable. Break a few ankles and set up some plays but in the end, wasn't a team game. Get rid of that crutch and you now have players who were always good doing their own thinking and synergy building. This will continue for sure!

  5. back already from what? they were never good. it does seem like they were only relying on hughes to do everything and he finally gave up and we all saw that. now the team has to play like a team and guess what? it's working.

  6. went from losing our greatest d-man to getting rid of our bum captain 😂😂😂😂😂😂

    oh how the turntables

  7. Idk what's going on but I'm here for the ride. If we put on a bit of a show now to raise morale while giving the team an identity and then pump the brakes a bit to get a high draft pick, I'd be happy with that.

  8. The absolute best part about this is not just the win streak, but the fact that they’re playing as a team and they’re playing exciting hockey again!! This is the kind of team I can be happy to buy a ticket to go see. Team tank still! But I’m all for them finding a better overall effort and exciting play again.

  9. Turns out hockey is a team sport who knew.
Collectively, we forget every regular season. Then you remember in the playoffs yes hockey is a team sport.

  10. First , the Canucks are playing pressure less hockey right now , for the first time in decades the fan base is a little bit ok with the team losing, for a player on a Canadian market team it must feel like a load bricks has been lifted off their shoulders
Second, Lankinen is lights out in shootout because he is an excellent goalie that gives out rebounds , rebounds don’t matter in shootouts

  11. Have you seen Brock, Garland and Jake lately? we can totally win games without Pete, Brock and Garland and Debrusk,we can’t depend on those guys even in the future, give young guys more chance

  12. I'm happy. They needed to fight for this one, and it builds character and confidence. If they still had Hughes, I would have been okay with aiming for the bottom, but these young players need to build confidence and the team as a whole needs to learn to play as a team, where every player gets to contribute.

  13. Blaming Hughes for the rest of the team being bad says more about the rest of the team than anything.

  14. Sasson and Karlson have become very reliable bottom 6 regular NHLers, with Middle 6 potential eventually. Abby Development under Malholtra did them a lot of good.

  15. Karlsson EATING IT UP. Ohgren LOVIN' IT. Sasson gettin' his sass on. Sherwood, Demko, Lankinen, Garland, playing themselves off the team.

Make Myers the new Captain. 1100 games says so. Give this team time to clean out the locker room. Let guys go who are chasing the chalice. Give the young guns the ice to run. Let a new leader emerge.

We are destined to win our way out of a decently high pick. This is the Canucks way. To the mushy middle we go!

  16. I'm happy, but I'm cautious. I said for a couple years that we would be a better team without Hughes, and so far, I'm right.

  17. The Canucks are playing more simple, relaxed hockey. They don't have Quinn Hughes being a puck hog. Although I want a top 5 pick in this years draft it's nice to see this team win. The vibes are good too and I feel like a ton of weight are off their shoulders. Liking the new guys a lot and I'm missing Quinn Hughes less and less.

  18. did this guy just say surprisingly good in the shootout bro is the boss in shootouts damn bro u really canucks fan lol

  19. The fact that lakinnen got a 900sv% after letting in 4 goals is crazy good job in the shootout my boy!

  20. I am pleasantly surprised by the turn of the Canucks fortunes. I thought they got robbed in this trade. These kids have filled in gaps in the bottom 6 of the lineup. They play solid defense and have contributed to the scoring. I am surprised Rossi hasn't contributed much but it's still early. Another note to the Boston dominance was in the face off circle. The nucks got owned and much of the possession was in the bruins favour due to this. Let's keep it going

  21. They are in Striking distance of the wild card spot now…
but I'd rather be in striking distance of Gavin Mckenna or Keaton Verhoff.
the question is. What will EP40's return do. make the team better??? or worse? hard to predict anymore

  22. From Calder cup winners to Stanley Cup…wouldn’t that be epic. Plus it’s better to have the new guys feel their own significance and contribution in winning with grit than to tank and feel hopeless. Deepdraft so why tank. Plus McKenna could fall in the draft that is if they still want him after scoring on his own net.
