To everyone saying he is too expensive. Understand that at the end of the 2027 season a lot of the big contracts come off the books. Gallagher, Anderson and now danault represent 18M and we ain’t resigning them.
Team is young our time frame for the cup is going into the 2027-28 season.

Losing Dvorak and Armia really hurt them. Getting a guy like Danault back makes sense, especially with the injuries.

A good, solid center. He should score 50+ points a year and has a better than 50% faceoff percentage. A good fit and a smart trade.
