  1. I'm honestly happy to have him back really he never should have left if you think back to what became of this teams defense once he left. (Yeah I'm aware of the contract and the lose of other guys like price and Weber were factors) but we never should've traded for Dvorak

  2. Oh boy..that’s a lot of money to win a few face offs. Seriously scratching my head on this one. Especially given their recent success drafting in the second round.

  3. They should have paid to get rid of that contract. Love Danault.. great left handed face off winner. But it's crazy expensive

  4. Losing Dvorak and Armia really hurt them. Getting a guy like Danault back makes sense, especially with the injuries.

  5. Ugh. He wanted out from Montréal when he left. He wasn’t happy about being used in a defencive role. Hopefully he’s matured and that’s changed. 😊

  6. To everyone saying he is too expensive. Understand that at the end of the 2027 season a lot of the big contracts come off the books. Gallagher, Anderson and now danault represent 18M and we ain’t resigning them.

Team is young our time frame for the cup is going into the 2027-28 season.

  7. That second round pick was the one we got on the laine trade, that means we traded Jordan harris for laine and danault. Wild

  8. A good, solid center. He should score 50+ points a year and has a better than 50% faceoff percentage. A good fit and a smart trade.
