   The Kraken are a fundamentally disfunctional team and organisation. Now that Kevin Adams is gone, Francis/Boterill easily hold the title of the worst management in the league and its not close. Their drafting is ok but not stellar. Their scouting is more of the same. The team lacks top end talent and direction. It would be in their best interest to sell the farm. They have the most pending RFAs and UFAs anyway. They have the tax-free state buff. All they need is there. But nothing is gonna happen as long as clientism reigns supreme in the woke city this team isn't going anywhere.

   That's the Seattle Kraken nowadays and it absolutely pains me to admit that. 2022-23 felt so long ago

   Stepho literally only has faceoff, and pp performance. He has abysmal 5v5 scoring, very mid defence and yet still gets 2nd most ice time of any forward on the team behind beniers.

   Speaking of which, thank God Beniers is getting better on the dot just under 50% this year.

    I have a feeling Grav is gonna get really mad if Seattle gets a top 3 draft pick but selects Tynan Lawrence. Choosing yet another center in the first round when a defenseman like Keaton Verhoef would be a perfect fit.

    The clause and cap hit situation is bad for multiple players too. Not only is this team struggling to be competitive, they're also going to struggle to leverage all of their positive assets as they try to sell.

    As a Seattle sports diehard, who is still learning hockey but has supported this team since day 1, you're absolutely right. How Ron Francis went from GM, to getting the president position after all the bad he's done, was my first major clue we are cooked.

    All we do is draft underperforming centerman, and we try and sign 3rd line guys to compete when they should have been trying to rebuild.

    Lastly that playoff appearance in year 2 definitely didn't help….

    With Seattle sucking, I would LOVE to see a mock expansion team. Looking at who could be unprotected following the past rules and picking 1 player from each team
